Rhett is on a field trip today. He had to be at the school at 6:30 this morning. They are going to Wilmington – about a 2-3 hour drive from here. He was so excited. This morning when I went in to wake him up before 6:00 he was groggy for a minute and then I said it is time to go on your field trip – he popped right up! This is the boys getting in their breakfast. It was 6:15 – no I am not normally up at this time… at least not this awake and this ready with breakfast! I guess this is something we do for our children.
Grandma Lois has made us a bunch of blankets but this is one that she made for Emma. Isn’t it a beautiful quilt! Barb has been collecting a picture collection of all of her quilts that she has made over the years. It was so fun to look through! She suggested that we add pictures of the quilts that she made for our kids. So this was one of the many pictures of quilts she has made for us. I think our most used is our little levi one… perfect for a picnic!
